I can't believe what a hypocrite Billy Mitchell was to make that statement about a score that counts really being the one when set in a competitive environment and then not giving Steve the opportunity to challenge him.

The guy flies his whole family out to Billy's back yard and then Billy won't give him the chance to compete publicly.

Steve is the real champion in my view and is willing to publicly demonstrate the repeatability of his ablility to beat the game. In my view the better player, score aside. I won't spoil the ending.

Hmmm. Stargate marathon score doesn't seem that far off on Twin Galaxies.....

I agree with this statement. just noticed there wasnt alot of publicity or people in the tournament shots of the film. so there may be hope for a successful Canadian tournament of sorts run by maaca members in the future. like I said a big show/tournament is a dream of mine I just need participation and help to spread the word and get it together it cant be a one man show.

Just watched  a few minutes of the torrent last night - quite addictive.   I know who I'd rather have show up at my house for a beer!

Regardless of the numbers, to make an event like this an event they have the most important factors in place. Number one, the accepted authority to rule on it, Twin Galaxies, and number two, a somewhat impartial third party documenting the event.

I think you would have success if you promoted it as a quasi news event and had someone representing Twin Galaxies come in for it.

As for games, it could potentially be put together by the membership. A lot of donated muscle would be required to put it together though.
