I'm pretty sure it's the first version from 1999. According to IPDB they were started as Sega and finished by Stern. I'm sure somebody else here has first hand experience, I just checked:
Without looking at the translite- theres nothing to indicate that thats not an original sega. It dosen't have the chrome plated finish. It's also missing the anniversary circle on the side of the cabinet. Tim
Does it not have the Date code stamped on the back of it? They usually do, ask the seller what the date of manufacture is. That will answer the question for you.
