Worst pinball ever.... The Dark Knight, I hate that game, I hate everything about it and I don't generally hate machines, but that one I hate, everything on it is so pointless and the rules are terrible, the voice actors are some of the worst I've ever heard, everything about that machine sucks, I wouldn't buy it even if it was worth $200 it's that garbage as far as I'm concerned.
i call bull s#@t if you found one for two hundred bucks it would be your new favorite game and you would be bragging about it to everyone. i actually find it to be fun must just be me.

Call Bull sh!t all you like but I wouldn't buy it for $200 other then to turn around, sell it for more and buy anything else.
This always gets into a discussion of valuations vs gameplay. So your going to get the CC sucks response because someone doesn't think it's worth the $ it commands.
A fair assessment can only made if cost does not enter into the equation. You will still get the sour grapes response from those who find games out of their budget or foolishly having a hidden agenda of trying to drive the price down by saying there is no desire for a game. Jedi mind tricks don't work around here.
Having said that this tends to lead to a negative discussion with little to be gained from it.
If you want my to cents. Hercules to me is pointless as a "pinball", although it is novel.
SS: City Slicker (had one) DM: Too many Gottliebs to list here...and Stricker Xtreme...what a piece of CRRRRRAP!!!!
Current 'working' lineup: ( 2 ) Flipper Football, The Shadow
Gone but not forgotten: ( 22 ) City Slicker, Dirty Harry, CFTBL, Big Shot, Big Guns, Black Rose, Judge Dredd, Indianapolis 500, Big Game, BS: Dracula x 2, Beat the Clock, Fire!, F-14 Tomcat, Getaway, Breakshot, Cheetah, Meteor, El Dorado, Nitro Ground Shaker, Chexx Hockey, Slugfest
I will only speak pins that I have owned which are mostly Williams WPC and Junkyard is the winner!! The sounds in the game drive me nuts, so much so that I sold the game at a loss, because I hated it so much. To this day, I just keep walking when I see one.
The fact that I do not own any older pins, speaks volumes on how much I like the older generation pins.
It has been scientifically proven that light is faster than sound. That is why some people seem brilliant........until they open their mouth!
Worst pins ? Everybody find a very bad pin where another person find the same pin fantastic !! I found TZ disapointed because it is number 1 rated and don't find it ''very'' fun or ''very'' attractive but i remark there's only .55 point difference with on of my favorite, Black Hole.

For DMDs, I'd say South Park is the worst, with TDK a close second. They're both amazing wastes of great licenses.
I haven't played enough SS or EMs to comment. Has anyone played enough EMs to have an opinion? There are a LOT out there!
Have
Want
-The Getaway: High Speed II!! -Spider-Man -F-14 Tomcat -Guns N' Roses -Lord of the Rings -Twilight Zone
-Medieval Madness! -Indiana Jones (Williams) -Star Trek: The Next Generation -Champion Pub -Terminator 3 -Congo -Johnny Mnemonic -Tales of the Arabian Nights
Let me see......I've only played one in any given arcade, and probably never had the chance to play 1 machine more than once.
I vote ALL or NONE! Weee!
In all seriousness, the only one that stands out in my mind as being able to remember not liking it and wishing I could get my money back, would be Superman. I remember playing it when I was about 10 years old, and it pissed me off to no end. Maybe cause I just sucked at it.
I usually feel that the worst machine is the one that I, or a buddy, most recently sold...consequently the best one I've ever had is the most recent replacement. Funny how that works, eh
p.s. I really don't understand TZ..worst game ever made? I doubt it...but it sure makes me feel angry when I play it.
TZ is ranked #1 so if its not your favorite I suppose you may consider it over rated but worst...not a chance. South Park is probably the "winner" for DMD
TZ is not my worst, but yes overated. I cannot find my worst pin, i like so much this hobby . I can play very simple EM pins and still i will enjoy them for the different style and gameplay they have to offer.
ps: I like TZ, but will not trade it for any of mine ps: I can trade one of mine for LOTR maybe !!!!

dmd... i have to say wipeout. i haven't owned that many dmd to say the others were bad. i enjoy wipeout alot.
EM: Doodle Bug. There's probably worse, but that's the worst one I had cluttering my house so I'm hatin' on it.
Currently Ownin' The Addams Family Terminator 2 The Getaway WWF Royal Rumble (Yea! Yea! Ohhh yea!) Black Knight -New/Project Gorgar -New/Project Strange World King of Kong Themed MAME Cab Chexx Bubble Hockey

EM: Target Alpha and all its derivatives. I love drop targets a lot, but this is just stupid overkill with the most useless upper flippers I've ever seen.
SS: Hollywood Heat can't possibly be the worst for gameplay. That distinction belongs to Pinbot. HHeat is one of the biggest losers from an artwork perspective, but Pinbot is a giant turd. Useless mini playfield. DRAIN WHORE. Useless pop bumper area. Lame target bank straight up the middle. Repetitive gameplay. It's just poor, poor, poor. Excellent sound/artrwork. HORRIBLE gameplay.
DMD: Not South Park. I agree, it's not great, but it's not *terrible*. Freddy is pretty darn bad (and ugly too). T2 is also pretty low on my list for its repetition, repetition, repetition. Come to think of it, I really have trouble with most Lawlor games, too. FH (not a DMD, but it's close) and TZ in particular are two games that leave me wanting to play just about anything else.

GAK! Infidel! Take your comments on Superman back, TAKE THEM BACK!
eheh You know, I can't think of one pin that was bad. Overrated maybe, but bad? Nope. There are a few where I think I might have thought "bad" but the machine wasn't maintained well so I think it was more the fault of that, then the machine or ruleset that disappointed me. Case in point is Congo. The first time I played it, the machine did ntohign for me but it really wasn't well maintained (I don't even think it was levelled properly!). Anyway, I played it at Jim's last year and it actually surprised me, found it to be enjoyable at the very least.
I really have trouble with most Lawlor games, too.....Flame suit ON!
Before you get flamed.....I will agree with you. Just cannot get into Lawlor games. I have owned FH, WW, ES, TZ, TAF, NGG and even Monopoly, RBION and the only one I would say I like is NGG. Not sure what it is, but Lawlor games get no love from me.

Doesn't your signature say "Currently owning: TZ, TAFG....". If you don't like them, why own them?
Personally I'm not an EM fan so I would pretty much pass on any i saw. Unless it was surrounded in hype. Then i would atleast try it to see what the fuss is about.
For SS and DMD i can't say much. I will say for DMD's Shaq doesn't get my heart rate up. I hate basketball but on the other hand I hear good things about other basketball themed games. I had a Raven once, non working but from what i could see i wasn't missing much. Look has alot to do with it also in my opinion.
And, for all you South Park haters. I own one and its good for a laugh. I watch that show pretty much every night which makes owning one and playing one all the more entertaining. The adult content has to be on. Its a generational thing i suppose.
But, i still don't get why you would own an "A" list game or highly sought after game if you don't like it.

Generational thing???? I'm 30yrs old, and have been watching South Park religiously since it started...love the show...hate the game. The Pin is poorly made, boring, not funny, annoying, and U_G_L_Y it ain't got on alibi...its ugly.
Worst being what? worst playing? worst overall (looks, sounds, play)? Pretty much any Premier games are gonna be close to worst if you mean by overall. The fact that the translites on them are so damning ugly to a point that I can't stand in front of it to play a game is gonna put it in the bottom of the heap pretty quickly. As far as worst playing, I haven't played enough pins to give a good opinion but out of the ones I have played (mainly Williams/Bally/Midway), I vote for Oursler and Lawlor games. They kinda bore me to death. Fish Tales comes close with its music. It's so bad that I can't play more than a game of it.
But, i still don't get why you would own an "A" list game or highly sought after game if you don't like it.
Since you asked...TAFG is tentatively sold, just waiting on the buyer and since I have a "collection", I like to have a variety of games so I will buy games to give them an honest evaluation. My friends have a blast playing TZ, never said I hated it or it was the worst pinball, I just do not get Lawlor games.

To me, the worst pinball is anyone with week flippers. How annoying.
So pretty much a lot of classic Williams pins.
That drives me nuts as well... having to nudge the pin forward when activating the flipper to get the ball to get at the top of the playfield doesn't do it for me...

Ahhh, I see. No offense intended. I'm just envious. Hell, i'm one to talk. I have a collection of Sega's and for the most part i have them because they are inexpensive, reliable (in my opinion), and simply not in demand.

EM: Sky Kings - played this when I was young(er). Poor game play with not a lot to shoot at.
SS: Special Force - played this game last year at Allentown. One of the worst I have played. Back glass is horrible too. Supersonic ranks up there too.
DMD: WH2O - I can never get into this game and I find it really repetitive. I know it is popular and I will probably receive flack for this but it is just my opinion.
