I can almost honestly say DONE! I played it tonight. Other than a couple of buttons not registering (connectors probably), it is great!!!
Now for the legal jargon: In the following video, I want to clarify that this machine will NOT be delivered with the roms included. I own boardsets of the games I tested, therefore I am legally entitled to play them on MAME.
I just watched the videos! , im speechless this is what i call a mame cab!!!!
awesome job from a to z
Im sure the owner will have tons of fun!! i really love the Hdtv approach , this leaves him the choice of upgrading the system later on , maybe even play SF4 in full HD! lucky!!!
Well, almost everything is in the van now. All I have left is the monitor pedestal. No way that will fit along with the Judge dredd and Peppy in there. Looks like, belive it or not, it will get strapped to the roof! It weighs less than 150lbs which is the roof capacity. I may even cut it a bit as part of the base is now redundant since the monitor no longer sticks out the back.
I also loaded the displays for Cooke and Squid's cabinet glass bar. I think I got everything...
Just wanted to say a public thank you to Sparky for delivering this to me yesterday, this thing is awesome and I'm having an great time playing everything on it.

As for the demo video posted above, although I would have traded the narrator for a more curvaceous "hostess", I have to say that I'm happy with his choice of game demo.
Nothing highlights a 32" LCD like a good game of Robotron !
I actually told myself that Steph would approve Robotron. Man, you have NO idea how much the sound KICKED a** with the sound system. I played games with cool classic sounds before filming... Robotron, Juno First, Gyruss... all fantastic.
And I am open for orders on MAMEs... anyone can contact me and we can start the process. And since I do more personalized MAMEs, I have to talk with the buyer for an hour or so and pick their brain to see what would be nice.
Other than 3 pinball cabs to redo (which shouldn't be too long), my shop is empty... a MAME build would be fun!
