... the typical GTB reticence.  Stargate is the best GTB ever built, and:

- System 3 boards are built like tanks
- components are nothing obsolete, everything easy to find
- Pinball resource sells EVERYTHING for Stargate
- beautiful pinball... backglass is one of the best ever
- plays good (granted, not a TSPP, LOTR, MM or MB, but nonetheless a fun game)

Easy now there partner...  I've had MANY Sys80's through my shop in the last year, and I currently have 3 Sys80's and a Sys3 in my collection.  Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment???  

In all honesty, I enjoy GTB machines.  Fun to work on, built like tanks, it's just unfortunate that the designers made some really odd choices during the engineering process.  (all of which have workarounds for)

Stargate BTW is a game I wouldn't mind playing some more.  (played it a bit @ Expo and thought it was decent)

I own a stargate and I like it and I have never seen the movie.  The kids love the glider and it is multiball mania all the time for the kids.
