Same thing. I searched manually and Recreation - Games is there, but no pinball. Something has changed.

That's so weird man! I expect us to get a lot more members now.

I just checked my ISP provided newsgroup service, and it still exists there. It looks like Google dropped support for it for some reason, which REALLY sucks! Did someone upload some kiddie pr0n to it?

Most people use google for it though. And their search tool is priceless! (It goes back decades) It also provides an RSS feed that I can read at work.

Google stopped updating RGP yesterday at about 3:15. You could still view all of the posts made previous to 3:15, but no new messages were being displayed. It then went offline completely this morning. I suspect this is just a google glitch and it will be back up soon. RGVAC is still there, so it's not usenet-wide.

Rogers dropped it's Usenet access in 2005.

My bill never went down. Nor did they give me a break when they started throttling my account.

Assholes.

and that's precicely when I switched over to teksavvy.com. Never had a problem since. $35 gives me a highspeed DSL line, a static IP and newsgroups (with bins), no headaches, and actual people to talk to when you call the offices! Best of all, none of my money goes to Rogers!
