I know this topic has been kicked around before,
but I still don't know where most people plan to stay in Allentown.
I was looking at the Holiday-Inn recommended on the site,
http://www.pinballwizardsconv.com/HISpecial.html by was wondering if others will be staying there ?
So for those who have booked (...or will do so soon ),
where have you booked, and what was the nightly rate ?

The holiday inn "downtown" is NOT the one in front of dorney park. (which is also ~ 1 or 2 miles away from the agriplex)
The dorney park is
1- nice
2-has some resto round it
3-Close to Scott's place

I'm at the HI Dorney Park. Stayed there twice before and its always been good. Like Mr H said its clean and close to everything you need. The HOJO is also close by and was fine when I stayed there 3 years ago.
Rebuilding...currently Scared Stiff, Guns N'Roses, Bally Harley Davidson, Fish tales, Slugfest, JVL Conquest standup,and a Wurlitzer Juke.

Actually it's 59$ on friday and 89$ on saturday... gives an average of 74$ a day.
I booked there last week thru priceline and a room with 2 beds was 84$ per night average.
--> Room Type: Nsmk Room Has 2 Queen Bedsamenities Including Microwave/Wifi/Refrigerator /Hrdryer/Coffee Maker
