even with shipping included, It's not a deal, like all bulk deal we see lately. It never worked..
Pins DMD DE Maverick SS Gottlieb Incredible Hulk SS Gottlieb Amazing Spiderman
Working on: Gorgar, Tri-Zone, Agent 777 Next project: F14- Tomcat, Taxi, Strange World, Genesis
Gone: Triple Strike, Jacks to Open x2, Star Pool x2, Hi-Lo Ace, Spy Hunter, Stargate and... a lot of projects!Wants: Sport theme machine: Bobby Orr, Ice Fever, MNF, Royal Rumble... EM or SS...
MPL 2009-2010 Iron Man and Royal Flush: Best effort awards!
Funny that he doesn't include pics of the "good" games.
I was just thinking that.
Smells kinda scammish...
I'd put the lot around $30k, tops. But if shipping is included, it's not a terrible price.. although he wants GST on top of the price within Canada., so you're looking at an extra $3k+ in taxes.
If he could be talked down and someone out west could verify the machines are actually real, it could be something to pursue
Own Magic, Star Gazer, Batman Forever, STTNG, Mystery Castle (project)
Gone Fairy, Secret Service, Meteor x3, Title Fight, Eight Ball Deluxe, Bone Busters Inc., Seawitch, Starship Troopers, Strange Science, Arena, Hook, Pin*Bot x2, Time Warp, Motordome, Robocop, Black hole, Jurassic Park , Wipe-Out, Pinball Pro: Challenger I, Swords of Fury, Stargate, Party Zone
One of his pictures shows a Flash backbox, which looks pretty nicked and dinged, with lots of paint missing. He calls the cabinet a 9.5 in his listing.....It looks more like an 8 to me. Maybe I'm too picky... He does have a best offer option. Only way this would work is if someone in Sask took lots of photos to validate and enough people that want enough of the games got together. The GST portion though....hmmm.... that would have to be factored into the prices.
It doesn't look like a scam in the true sense of the word, if you look at the other items he has for sale, there are quite a few related items so I'm reasonably sure the games exist. Then, when you see a 60-1 for sale for $1,600, you realize he's just a bit off on his price assessment.
More work, but I think people like this would be better off selling them in small lots. The market for someone buying this many games has got to be limited.

I am guessing, but with fair certainty, that this is the same seller near Saskatoon who was trying to sell me (and every other distributor in Canada) their lot.
On individual sales, he wanted $1600 for Road Kings, $1600 for Quicksilver, and $3000 for The Addam's Family (if it's the same one he gave me pictures of, his evaluation of playfield and cabinet aren't accurate).
The titles overlap and the pictures are the same (I have more pics if anyone is interested). He's not very negotiable. He has been in the business a long time, but expects the lot to sell close to retail value. More power to him if it goes, some of the machines are in really nice condition (if it is the same guy), some (like TAF) are only so, so.

So they are over priced. Why would you do a bulk deal with out some incentives on the price. If he wants full retail why doesn't he sell singles.

He had an explaination about being strong armed on individual local sales in Saskatchewan by the power and safety company that wanted him to re-CSA certify the machiens before selling them (similar to Ontario Hydro's Isolation Transformers for arcades program). Seemed like a nice fellow, just not Ontario market friendly.

This seller is on crack.
The whole point behind selling in bulk is less headache and you get all the games out in one shot, instead of dealing with PIA individual sales. The reason you buy in bulk is to save $$$, period. This guy's got 2 strikes against him already, as he won't break up the lot AND wants top dollar for it. I guess strike 3 would be lack of pic's and his descriptions are WAY suspect.
I would entertain buying this lot, but no way in hell I would pay anything close to his asking shipping included or not! I would make an offer, but the guy would be insulted. If he is expecting top $$ for his games, he's gonna have to work for it like everyone else.
