...ok, so maybe we didn't eat "those" turkeys..

...but we do have a family of wild turkeys living in our neighborhood...

We've seen the mother and 4 chicks since May.
The "babies" are full grown now, so it's hard to tell which is which,
but they come strutting by every day or so...

We actually had a neighborhood newsletter telling us NOT to eat them !  

We can't we have pigeons like everyone else ?

the turkeys bring back such pleasant pin memories...

to veer this back on track,  any body else remember when going to helge's place to examin the containers of pins,  the turkeys Helge kept  fattening up in a pen for the restaurant?
