Good evening guys.  I have some terrible news about member DrewHall (Luc).

Last Sunday night, at the Wellington St. exit of the Bonaventure Expressway, he had a car accident and hit a hydro pole.  If that wasn't enough, within minutes, the car burst into flames.  He passed away (in what is probably the most horrifying way to die).  I believe he was 35 years old.  We don't really know any other details on what happened for him to lose control.

This came as incredibly terrible news for those like me who got to know him while helping him sell some arcade machines now and then at his Movie/VideoGame Rental store in Verdun (and I know some of you had deals with him also).  Luc was a unique personality (with that strong assertive voice) who was so generous to the people around him.

Rest In Peace Luc, I can't believe that this has happened to you.  You will be missed.

Tragic news indeed...

I only met him very briefly but he seemed like a very decent guy.

Condolences to his family...

Thats very sad. Luc bought a few machines from me a couple of years back. He was awesome to deal with, and we had a great time talking about the Expos as he was a big fan. Thats actually where the Drew Hall name came from ( he was a relief pitcher for the Expos way back).

For those that knew him better than I did I want to share a fun memory from when he picked up machines from my house. He showed up very late ( around 10:30) and my wife and newly arrived child were asleep. As we carried the machines up the stairs, Luc yelled out more swear words than I think I'd heard or spoken in a year!  I couldn't help but start laughing and we almost dropped the machine( Jurassic park it was). Needless to say everyone woke up and I got some flack after, but it was all worth it for the laughs Luc and I had. A real great guy that will surely be missed.

Wow, don't know what to say. Never met him but it seems he was a nice guy. 35 is way to young to be taken from your family and friends.

Tragic. I do not believe I ever met the man, but I still feel for the loss of such a young man in his prime.

I also offer my condolences to his family and friends. Famialy and friends need to be together during these times to greeve and share old stories (as Shoe Guy did) to help ease the pain and fondly remember there loved one.

Rest in peace.
