Anyway my guess is 200$ for the 5 vids (it's all they're worth in today's crashed vid market) and 1800$ for the Shadow.. Am I right??

That was funny. Nice pass time! Glad you are adding a few Vids in that fine collection of yours.
Don't under estimate the value of some Vids guys. A Pac-Man in that condition is still worth $800 or so. Not all of them are worth $150 even if the Vid market is and will probably always will be rather deadish....
BTW, the Pinball market is going to starting coming down soon, very soon. Be aware, (not ignorant)....
Vids: Crystal Castles, Gauntlet/Gauntlet II, Donkey Kong Jr., Ms. Pac-Man, Vs. Super Mario Bros. (other Vids in storage - for now) Pins:White Water [WH2O]
... BTW, I think you need a Robotron to complete that set... !

Nice score. All from the same source, or from differnet buyers.... ? (...some items looks familiar ... )
...and like Mike said, you probably paid ALOT more for the Shadow than all the vids combined right ?
Cheers, Steph
Yes, All from the same source, Local friend of mine. I believe all the vids will probably be sold down the road, although I do have a weakness for cocktails, so I might keep the Miss Pac. The others, we will see, the price was good so I can try them all again. Everything works except the ghouls and Ghosts, No Sound, but I threw another known working Jamma game in and no sound there either, so it is cabinet related... Shouldn't be a big deal (I hope).
And, Of course the Pin was the biggest part, not that I am a huge Shadow fan, this is the third one I have had, But it gets such rave reviews, I will try it again too, maybe I will get in to this one!

Maybe in your neck of the woods, but I just picked up 4 new customers. All 30 - 40 ish with aspirations of decking out their rec rooms. But they are all paying top dollar because their not collectors..... I kid you not. The deal may not materialize (who knows if I can fix / organize that many machines), but at least the interest was there.
on one hand people will start dropping their mortgages in droves during the next couple of years. why continue paying it off when the value of your house crashed yet you remortgaged it at its highest value to buy a bmw, a vacation, and a home theater? nobody really knows the effect this will have on the US economy when it is in full swing (1-3 years from now).
on the other hand, it seems people always speculate about the pin market imploding during the summer months. the pin market is seasonal and some people always react with doom and gloom during the summer slump.
my personal belief is that prices hit a plateau 2-3 years ago and unless the real estate bubble proves catastrophic (doubtful) they're likely to stay in that range for the next few years.
