This seller has been mentioned before as possibly being Mr. Anderson. I know this seller is in Flamborough as that is where the pin is located. I thought Mr. Anderson was in the Burlington/Hamilton area. My only suggestion is if you want to bid, make sure you pickup and check the game first so there are no surprises.

We are "suspicious" it is Mr. Anderson because a) He does live in Flamborough, and b) hangs out in Hamilton (Flamborough is part of Hamilton) or has a warehouse space there, and c) on the previous auction (Big Guns) he said he would accept cash on pick-up and I think he accepts same on this one.

On Big Guns, in his personal reply to questions from our members he does a certain thing in his replies that leads us to assume it is Mr. Anderson.

Mr. Anderson is going nuts on Kijiji and Craigslist lately, using a combination of new and old email addy's.

Big Guns went at a good but a bit high price - and the buyer sent good feedback, and I wish I knew whether this was truely Mr. Anderson or not.  But even though it may be a legit Anderson auction, it doesn't seem right to benefit someone who has reportedly ripped off others, and posted such vile drivel on this board in the past.

I have no proof, but I am suspecting that Mr. Anderson is perhaps an opportunistic thief.  That is, he sometimes offers legitimate things to purchase and buy (afterall he must get SOME responses to his ads to buy Pinballs for $10000), but maybe he scams if the succesful bidder is located too far away to pay cash on pick-up or something like that.  God forbid if you are bidding on stolen property.

I wish once and for all he'd be flushed out and dealt with, put away, or revealed as legitimate or not.  I think some members here have had successful dealings with him, do tell.

There is another (perhaps the same?) mysterious collector in Flamborough that I have heard tell of.  Apparently he is or was a retired distributor with a basement full of nice old slot machines, diggers, and pinball machines, and a huge barn or something full of valuable stuff.  But legends tend to grow with lots of fertilizer.

Hmmm... the listing has been removed by eBay I think.  I wonder why? (I had nothing to do with it.)
