Im going to be travelling through Quebec within the next 2 weeks to deliver a car to Targa Newfoundland. Does Quebec have strict emissions like here where they do random checks on vehicles for pollution equipment intact? (ie catalactic converters) Here they tow your vehicle on the spot if not equipped...Do they have MTO spotters like here? Thanks for any info

If you are on a truck, there are inspection stations, and yes, the little green men in their cars do stop truckers. But they are not that bad.
No, driving mustang convertible....here they target these types of cars to ensure factory emission equipment is still intact....but i believe it may have somethig to do with drive clean as well....rather be safe than towed! Thanks Sparky

They won't even bother with you here, unless you drive like an Ontar... uh... frickin maniac who hogs the left lane going 75km/h.
