After the list of pin for 2009, what are you planning to do in 2009 in your pin world?

My list:
1. Finish my first projects : Meteor (decided to do complete the restoration, if I still have it by summer, I will paint the cab too, I'm cleaning it parts by parts now, even paint the speaker under the cabinet even if nobody will see it, just for the fun of restoring)
EM Zig Zag project: Slowly cleaning it but also waiting to repaint the cabs outside... big playfield job to do.
F-14 Tomcat: Had some segment errors... I started to un-mylar the pf to repair the inserts...some cabinet work to do too

2. Gottlieb Spiderman: waiting for Sparky to finish shopping it

3. Taxi to repair... no sound no displays.. cpu seem to boot now a least, probably working the electronic between cleaning and painting

4. Trim down the other projects... hard to work on machine you don't want to keep after (newbie frenzy buying   (em and Gottlieb

5. Help other peoples with their pins (a Mata Hari: flipper problems (a flipper whitout EOS!) and a Cyclone with no displays (the guy that post the kijiji ads for help)

I'm good for a couple of month with that

Start on jungle lords

Get rid of everything.  This means fixing up/selling 6MDM and most likely borrowing a chainsaw for Road Riot.

Mike

1- finish Adam's MAME, Monkeybug's Silverball Mania and Mark's Captain Fantastic for March (although I don't know how the hell I will transport it all...).

2- Finish building my rotisserie for pinball cabinet restoration.

3- Find a better medium for my stencils.

4- Refine my touch-up skills.

5- Restore 4MBC.

6- Finish Evel Knievel for Allentown.

7- Go to Allentown and PAPA.

8- Get a tank for my airbrush compressor.

9- Finish restoring my Missile Command.

10- Get a couple more pins for myself and pick up lots of parts and worn playfields for restoration from Allentown.

11- Have a summer BBQ meeting at my place with a couple of pins outside.

12- Take a week's vacation soon.

13- Get Mikeman's Thunderblade for my son before he chucks it.

14- Restore Adam G's Flash Gordon all minty.

15- Make it throuogh 2009.

Firepower related:
- rebuild flippers
- find that #@$%@# short that's causing some lights to not come on. Tried already, jeezus I don't know how you guys find the patience to trace the wiring!!!
- pending funds, potentially get sparky to
a) touch up a couple of the playfield spots
b) fix up the insert issues
c) clearcoat the repaired playfield

Other pin related:
- win the OPL (yeah sure sure)
- potentially add to my collection via a cheap rugged but working EM

This year I'm hoping to:

1. Get over the initial hump of buying a house  so I can:

2. Redo the floors in the pinball/TV room and most importantly...

3. Start buying more pins to fill out said room.     

Finish HB. (well I am almost there)...

Find a new project (well I have one in mind but no space at all)

Knock out a basement wall (wife isn't lovin' that idea lately)

Re-shop a couple machines. (yeah these things get dirty again.... damn!)

Playfield swap on MM. (being too fussy is killing me, the old one ain't bad but it isn't perfect perfect)

I already PREPAID my hotel room for Allentown, and commited to deliver an Evel Knievel there... so no chickening out this year!

As for PAPA, I have said it long enough that I would go... now it is time to act.

1. PF swap on MGOW.
2. Shop T2
3. Paint cabinet for 2001
4. Restore a FG...Well, if Mr. Eager Beaver Ian leaves me anything to do that is.

Many projects in my head but hope to finish Black Hole and Centaur and if CPR deliver Fathom playfield fast enough i hope to finish this one in 2009.

I'd like to:

- Strip the head decals off ST:TNG, patch with bondo, paint, and apply new decals.
- Replace the speakers on TAF with a PinballPro kit and add the "Uncle Lester" figure for the electric chair (and maybe add LED flashers for the cloud topper, but that's on the wishlist).
- Fix up Police Force (Needs GI repaired, New main ramp, new displays, shooting range spinner repaired, pop bumpers completely rebuilt).
