i just mention this, just to point out why vendors are cranky when the cheap bastards try to haggle or low ball Wait till your turn comes being on the other side of the table.
Case in point, now that a few of our friends know that I have a stock of used parts (50% diminished), I have quite a few people asking me post-show if they can come pick over what's left. As much as I want to help everyone out, I'm still in a state of glum... over having to give up my "precious" stock (me horder too), so don't be surprised if I try to "Tglover" everything....
If you take into consideration my investment in the show's website then I lost about $3000 at the show. No complaints though, it was fun to do both the site and the show. If I had to pay the going rate for the booth space I took up (with Nick's and Mike's generosity).... yeesh....
I still have 4 nut machines here waiting for homes (at cost)....
Randy Elwin was kind enough to take a stock return on what was left of the box of 50 "Pinball 101" DVDs (only sold 10), so due to his fantastic kindness I am only out transport both ways....
P.S. Sorry Terrance, fun at your expense, I know, but the word now has a life of its own.....
PPS. Sorry Sparky, I hijacked the thread.... trying to cut back on that. I SO wanted to come up to your place this weekend.... it just doesn't look like its goign to come together.

No worries. It is a discussion forum after all, and this thread is NOT in the classifieds.
just wait till you do shows where the booth costs $1400 and the result is the same: lucky to recoup gas money! i just mention this, just to point out why vendors are cranky when the cheap bastards try to haggle or low ball Wait till your turn comes being on the other side of the table.
How true, being cheap (& mouthy) often doesn't help the business side of things. If you don't want to buy at the asking price (or thereabouts), then move on and don't waste the vendors' time is the least one can do to help.

je prendrais bien le backglass de lost world, pas le neuf... l'autre est parfait pour mon gameroom, si tu veut bien le mettre de coter, surement en ramasser d'autre sur place, merci!
By the way guys, a lot of these backglasses are restorable. I have done a few myself. Ask Mr.niceguy about his Nugent (I should post pics on that...). So if you do want a backglass restored for your game, I will be able to give you an estimate on the spot.
OK... I have done my best to keep track of people wanting me to put stuff aside (94PMs and counting) but I am too busy to confirm it all. I may have forgotten a few. Hopefully not.
