I'm just amazed at the whole thing. I can't find time in my life for friends, family and work. I always thought he was so far above everyone else at golf due to his dedication to the sport.
I was saying the same thing to some friends. I don't really care about golf or Tiger Woods. I am absolutely amazed that he can be at the top of his sport and find time for all his "extra-curricular activates". His sponsorships may go down, but the guy could make a mint selling a time management course ! He's obviously an expert at that. I agree w/ the statements a few have said. The best thing for him to do is leave his wife, be absolutely fair in the divorce, and accept he is a male slut. Married life isn't for everyone and it's obviously not for him. Duane |

Years ago, Jack Nicholas was quoted in a rather negative response about the up-and-coming Tiger. Nicholas was being questioned about how he feels about the real possibility that Tiger would surpass his records, and Nicholas' response went along the lines of, "Yeah, Tiger is doing well now, but wait until he gets married and has kids.".
I'd love to find that interview again. |

So what if he is a balck golfer version of Quagmire... I am so sick and tired that this is invading all sports news channels. Keep it for the National Enquirer... sports fans don't care if he does what he does. It is between him and his wife. Let's just call him Cleveland Quagmire with a mean golf game. |

Yes, I really don't care either. However, I think so many people are relishing in this because of the false image he was portraying. As he was marketing a lot of stuff based upon his squeky clean image - now he (and his handlers) appears like a hypocrite.
I guess it is like when a pin seller tries to pass off a pin as super-clean when in fact they know full well it has lots of hidden problems. i.e. People have big problems with paying market/book value for a pin when it is not truthfully represented.
As such I think the people who really care are the people who feel that they have been lied to. Who was really mad at magic Johnson or Babe Ruth or Wilt Chamberlin or Denis Rodman with all there antics? Hardley anyone really because they were pretty upfront with there image - no lies. Take em or leave em - not quite the case in the "Woods Affair".
Can't believe I just wrote about this - guess it is hard when it is everywhere. So much for a future Stern Golf pin featuring the Tiger (unless they mixed it with a PlayBoy theme). |

As they said, the man is still a Ferrari when it comes to sponsors. A dent in the bumber Ferrari but a Ferrari nonetheless! A quick fix and he will be back. Maybe he will be more attractive to companies making condoms. |
