It seems that no one wants to host them anymore. Looks like I will have to rent machines to have a meeting at my place if need be... I just have to paint the gameroom as well.
I was under the "vague" impression that meetings were usually held off during the summer season because of vacation plans and other high activity periods.
[...Not that I'm offering to host mind you... ]
I'm sure things will pick-up in the fall....
Cheers, Steph (...who'll eventually host when I've got a few more projects ready and running... )
I have been planning to attend a TOPL event, but hasn't happened yet. One day I will convince a small delegation to hop in my van and we will drive down.

I'd haul my a** out of my computer chair for a Toronto meet. I was mentioning to Gory that he's well placed (midway TO / Montreal) for a summer parking lot pinball swap meet.

i am in the midst of moving locations permently to peterborough. that location in trenton is great and loads of room. we have it till end of sept/oct. too bad most of you missed the hey days when i had around 16pins(solar fire, rock, gorgar, flight 2k, genie, contact, world beauties (59), rock, big show, circus, rapid fire, scorpion, fireball classic, laser ball, laser war, hook) set up (some others were stored under them(6million$man, Charlie's Angels, strikes and spares,) and only 4vids. placed was packed. loads of fun. but now i only have two pins and a small amount of other fun machines. have been selling off most to pay for truck and other stuff. also so i don't have to move it all up here. have other things store in peterborough. still have to clear out storage unit. again, have the place till end of sept/oct. could have it cleared out for people to bring machines to set up and sell. room for people to show up the day before to set things up and stay over as well. loads of room & rooms. the shop also has a bathroom with shower. air condition and it can handle any amount of machines you want. outdoor power as well. great size parking lot and i could get some local press on the swap meet. there is some other collectors in the area as well and we would advertise the swap meet.

My place is always available..not quite as fully stocked as in the past, but somehow new machines keep coming in...if I could just figure out how that keeps happening...
