Is it just me or does it look small compared to a WMS widebody?

Is it supposed to be a widebody ? Maybe the guy playing it makes it look smaller..

No.  But if you are used to playing the WMS model...this one looks like a mini version.

Looks promising, I'm glad that it'll cover all the movies and not just the latest one.

I could do without LebOuef on the back glass, I'd put in the Williams translite.

Nice looking colors.  I guess they pretty much stuck to all the colors of the Williams one.  I would prefer it if it had a current older Indiana Jones picture.  And yes, Lebouef, who cares....
Looks like there will be some major price fluctuation (up or down?) that will happen with the 1993 Williams IJ within 6-9 months of this Stern release.

Vids: Crystal Castles, Gauntlet/Gauntlet II, Donkey Kong Jr., Ms. Pac-Man, Vs. Super Mario Bros. (other Vids in storage - for now)

I love it!  Looks great.  Of course I am a BIGTIME Indiana Jones fan too.  I think it is great that they used scenes on the translite from the original movies.  Indy tied to the post from the final scene in Raiders is awesome!!  I would not expect that there will be much "older" Indiana Jones pictures.  Hollywood can keep Sylvester Stallone looking like Rocky 25 years later and I am sure they will do much the same with Harrison Ford.

In any case this game should appeal to the large cult of indy followers.  Not sure if many of them will be willing to shell out the $4500+ dollars for it.  Sales will still depend on how the game plays.  For theme, of course we know sales will be high...  In terms of the 93 machine values, I would not expect that they would have any kind of dramatic drop or raise.  In history, when newer series movies have novelty items produced, the values of the originals go up.  Not sure if the same would happen with pinball but the new movie and the new machine should definately generate more interest all around - meaning original movie posters, memorbilia, etc will go up - will the same happen with pinball machine - perhaps and maybe

Maybe I need to sell you some Original Movie Posters!!

I don't think it will have any effect on the old Pin, if anything it might generate a little interest in people wanting both.

It does look Cool and the Theme is Excellent! and, It isn't a different game with new Art and Software! I can't wait to have a better look and a try on it!

Case in point... Wouldn't an original KING KONG movie poster have been worth more when the remake of the movie was done in Hollywood?  Usually this is the case but perhaps not always.  Sometimes old worthless stuff is always old worthless stuff and nothing can change that

Obviously the "arc" is a cool item on this new machine.  "Raiders of the lost arc - 8 BALL" ??  Could it really be?  I see 4 balls coming out of the arc in one picture.  Very cool how the arc slides back and the balls come out of the top of it.

One of the coolest features on the WMS IJ are the video modes - choose wisely, mine cart (my favorite) and find the medallion.  If the new machine does not have something similar I think it will definately lose out with respect to the old machine.

Hard to wait to be able to try it out.  Thanks for linking to the new pics, Azatotht - really gives a good look at the game.  I see no word anywhere as to when it might be released.  Movie comes out in May - Any ideas??

My first inital reaction was this looks almost exactly like POTC, I don't like the look of the PF and the shot layout I don't know I don't like the look of it.

the arc looks like it could be cool.

In the end I will allways reserve judgment till I've spent some time on the game.

I hate to be negative, but it looks like a Sega and that's not a good thing. Doesn't look like it has alot of shots. I usually get an immediate reaction from a game. I knew I would like theses by seeing the playfields LOTR, SPP, Ripleys, and FG.

This one leaves me luke warm. I love the cabinet artwork. Playfield artwork is decent. Translite is decent -- not great, but not bad.

But then again, I thought T3 looked terrible in pics and actually liked it in person. I was lukewarm to WoF and really enjoyed playing that one, so who knows...

When I look at the playfield, it looks very limited. Not alot of shots. Also, the holes look massive. Monster Bash massive. Hard to miss massive.

I'm hoping there's more to the rules as well. Initially it looks like AFM or Austin Power's -- hit this x times and start a multiball. I really hope there is more to it than that.

But the ark looks cool...opens up to serve up the balls for multiball. Neat!

I'll reserve judgement until I play it. It's a great theme and I think it is awesome that it includes all 4 movies.

Looks interesting .. the Ark appears to be a cool toy and the idea of 3 trapped ? balls in the smaller playfield is different as well .. but as Adam stated tough to get a real feel before playing it.

shoot for the ark! Shoot for the ark!

actually, it reminds me of the Jurassic Park playfield layout.

    a lot!!

That "white water" left ramp looks interresting. so are those upper captive balls.

Ark also is a lot like mothership on afm. Funny that there's already wear at the magnet only from one show!

cool looking skull

Good luck Stern. hope it keeps you running for a long time.

For you guys complaining about wear, the PF is not clearcoated at all. John borg is the designer, Lonnie Ropp is the programmer.
