I was waxing my TZ PF, and thought that while I was at it, I might as well wax my pinballs too.  Is there any benefit to this? Does anyone else also wax there balls?

Should I also wax my POWER Ball?

but i asked a fellow Macca member this and a new friend rearding this. We all paused then laughed!!!

It would be great if someone local who has invested in a decent tumbler would provide the service. There's nothing wrong with getting a few bucks to cover the costs. I for one cannot justify purchasing a decent tumbler for minimal use.

And in answer to the OP's question which  I believe has been asked before...I use fly paper.

What ' s fly paper ? ( I guess it ' s a slang . I ' m sure that you don ' t know what "el flo" means and even if you do it on google translater , i ' d be curious what would come out ...   )

Thanks for your opinions....

Here is my method.

1) I take my balls in my hand, and manipulate them until they are in the right position.
2) I usually focus on one ball at a time, and tweak it to the front position in my hand.
3) Then I apply a nice layer of wax, and massage it all around and over my ball.
4) I let it sit a bit (sometimes in my hand, sometime not)
5) Then I use my hand in a back and forth motion (mostly) to buff the hell out of them.
6) I inspect them, and sometimes find that there is wax on the rag, that transferred back onto my balls
7) If need be, I buff them again until my balls are nice and shiny.

I have also toyed with the idea of using an electric tool on them to buff them better then I could do with my hand - but have not tried this yet.  

Do any of you do it differently?

that my friend, seems to be a bit too much information.....

tell you the truth,I really never really payed  attention to as how I clean my balls....I think I used Alcohol last time but didn't actually wax them!!

For the amount of time (and electricity!) it takes to tumble balls, at $2 a pop, even owning a tumbler, I buy.

I save it for metal parts.
