Hello MAACA,

My wife is a High School teacher in Ottawa (Science, Math, and Computer Studies), and she has decided to do a 2 month unit on Pinball machines in her Computer Engineering course...She feels EM machines would be great interactive tools to teach about circuits, fuses, resistors, bulbs, relays, etc...As for solid state machines, they might be a little too complicted because of the specialized computer chips, and the school has old junker computers to mess around with for that.

She ran the idea past her department heads and they are totally for it. They are looking for some working/partially working EM games, cosmetics are not important at all....this is also a Catholic High School so I don't think Dave Christensen games would go over very well

Anyways, she needs around three EM machines and can pay, at tops, $200 each for them. However, it is tax season right now, and if you wanted to donate any machines they are able to issue you a charitable receipt.

What about the seller on Ebay I just bought the Eight Ball from? Some cheap EMs in there... He charges around 100$ for crating and shipping...

  I've bought over 20 machines from Eccoinop...great seller. He does seem to be finding lots of old stuff these days!

I believe he is an operator.

My wife is now looking for some pinballs and rubbers for the machines.....So, if anyone has a few extra old ones laying around (i.e. bands that aren't pretty, or balls that lost their shine), they would also be very appreciated!

I've got two balls that have seen some use that your wife can have. They may need a bit of polishing though. She can come by tonight for them.

Buy my Hurricane and I'll throw in 3 balls  

I seem to lose the old balls - but I have a tumbler - so any balls you get send them my way and I can smooth them out for you... ...next time you come over I can get you some balls if you don't have any....

PM me your full name and address and roughly what you need, rubber-wise. I have TONS of pin-rubbers...I bought a lot of them years back.

I meant that when you get married you would be getting many gifts and those extra pinballs may get lost in the mix of things.
