Hahaha, Keeping a forum on topic and checked for grammer and spelling is like herding cats!

My grammer and spelling are perfect, unfortunately my typing is horrendous. and i believe in "stream of conciousness" writing, so I mostly refuse to edit myself.

That wirint style also allows me to complain about Terry Never making sure there is beer for me or Terry or Terry when we are at Starburst.
(NOtice the typo in the above line... IT STAYS BWAHAHAHAHHA)

As for names,
Blegh.

Some people call me Axe, some call me Dave, some call me "Hey Fatass", but then too many maaca members turn to look!

As for the tight knited-ness of this community, yes, it is an incestuous little group, but thats comforting.  THere is always someone willing to help yo load up a truck, or move a game.  It tends to be Montreal/ottawa based in part since it's M aaca....  It strays into Toronto since this is where Starburst is, and a big glut of collectors/hobbyists.  I lurked for a while cause it WAS M aaca,   I figured as a TOront guy, I should be Taaka... but nobody started it. and the CGCC guys are all here.

and might I add, Cheese is Delicious

You might as well comlain about threads started in English, that include French posts!!!!

This is pretty much the case for me as well. I may proof read once only to ensure that what I wrote gets the point across. If there is a there, their, thier or they're in the sentence, as long as it sounds like "there" it's left intact the way I initially wrote it. I usually know it's wrong right after I typed it but it's getting on with that "stream of consciousness" and not getting wound up in making sure I have used the entirely correct application of the word or it's correct spelling. I write documents for wide spread dissemination in my everyday job and at times they get proof read several times, then sent through a second person, and finally to a secretary for final checks to ensure it is as grammatically correct as humanly possible and properly formatted. At any rate having to live through that on a daily basis, I don't want to go through that same process here so whatever I am writing I usually don't check at all.

Besides with 5000 plus posts how much time do you really think I spend proof-reading?

Oh yes and I often deliberately write in slang, which as you probably well know is intended to be read like a script to have the proper effect.

I COMPLETELY forgot to add this on topic pinball video I found the other day.  Knock yourself out.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFbBBKh7W2A

So, even though we dumped on Nasti for pointing out the obvious, he/she is now a part of the family. Welcome to our weird, overly-obsessed, manic-depressive, self-righteous world.

And if you're really really bored this morning, this one will make you go "huh?  I guess you're right, MAACA isn't as F&pped up as it can get out there. My life is good." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFbEBVuVHZc&feature=fvw

A little YouTube is a dangerous thing.

We discuss a hell of a lot more pinball than just about any other place under the sun north of the 49th on here. That is the main objective. Other things come up in the conversation. That's the nature of forums. We even feel it's quite acceptable to comment on peoples FS threads and you know what, it keeps it in the limelight.

Heck, that's human nature....Why try to change?
