This section of the forum is dedicated to all game videos posted. This section can help future buyers on seeing a game in true action... and not just on mame or pinmame, and also simply for those who are just curious...

Enjoy!

It'd be cool if the people that are experienced with shooting good videos could post some tips. What angle/lighting? How do you setup the camera? Ya know, the details.

Well, building a tripod works. I believe Necro posted about his a while back.

Yeah, yeah... I know... the glare from the bulbs on the Nine Ball. I didn't have a tripod... building one now. Ideally, if your camera is in the same general area as your eyes would be, there is not that much glare.

I have a couple kicking tripods kicking around, but the one to get the game play view is a Red Green special made with a drywall T square and some duct tape.

I tape a short tripod to the top of the T Square that has a camera mount then I run a strap of duct tape folded over with a AA battery in the end of the strap. Open the coin door and drop it in the top. With the door closed it's secure and it just sits titled back slightly in front of the machine.
