Seems like this might be a decent trade for me.  I have an offer for a MINT 2005 Nascar machine for my TAF machine.  I have not played Nascar but it looks like a pretty cool game - it's new(er) and the value must be similar to TAF.

Any opinions on Nascar or this trade?  Thanks so much...

Forget trading something for your TAF.  Very few machines out there are worth as much.  A HUO LOTR or TSPP would be adequate.  Any other "newer" machine doesn't cut it as far as value goes..

Play Nascar before you do the trade.

Nascar is a game you either hate or like, there doesn't seem to be much in between.  I think Nascar got an award for most usless plunger   But the track is pretty stupid.

I like Nascar, it's fun to play once and a while, similar to TAF in rules, where it has allot of modes and you need to complete them to makeit to the wizard mode.  I like the Multiball as the jackpots randomize each time you play it so they are allways diffrent.  The modes can be fun, but the playfield feels very cramped as they spent allot of room on the track.

I also dont see TAF for Nascar as a good trade unless the person with the Nascar is adding cash.  Unless your TAF is beat to hell.

If you have the following symbol somewhere in, on or in front of your house, or on the roof of your car, then you will love Nascar.

What does the price guide say average Addams vs mint Nascar?  Am I wrong that they are close??  Looking at ebay they seem to sell for close to the same.  Of course I am more interested in a game I will enjoy regardless of the price comparison.

They are close in value in the guide.  But the '05 version is listed at $200 less than the '06 model.
So the high value is more related to how new it is than anything.  More than likely the price will
continue to fall as it gets older, while Addams Family will more than likely mantain it's value as
it's already 17 years old and worth as much (slightly more actually) than NASCAR.

And you should be concerned with value as well as how much you will enjoy the game, because
at some point you will probably tire of the game and want to sell it.  Then, what someone else is
willing to pay is more important than whether you like the game or not.

Not to mention e-bay isn't a good tool to determine price because there is no real proof any
of those games are actually sold, that's if they even get a bid in the first place.  I could put my
Demolition Man on e-bay or kijiji for $5000, that doesn't mean it's worth that or anyone is willing to
pay that.

Past                  Present                Future
Split Second       No Fear                Any DMD considered
Cyclone              Frankenstein
Whitewater         Tommy
Demolition Man  SWEP1
Skill Pool            Gamatron
                            Spiderman
