Does anyone here make there own leg protectors? I cant see it being too hard, just wondering if anyone does and if so what material they use.

I make mine from two layers of hobby foam, make a template a little larger than the leg so the edges are protected,  works well, still I like my PinCab Protectors better.

Zak - go buy it at the dollar store or Walmart - cheapest. I do the same as Wayne - 2 layers. I do all my machines and the NIB show NO damage at all despite moving, legs going on/off etc. Work great and cost less than $1 per game.

By the way, LMK when you're in Ottawa this weekend - I'm around.

Thanks I will look for the hobby foam at Wal Mart. I guess it is near the pens/pencils?

As for being in Ottawa this weekend. I am SUPER buzy, Trying to set up to See a pin that MAY be for sale, get my taxes done, take wife to Costco, take wife out for dinner (B-Day)

I am Posted to Ottawa this summer. Where the hell is the "uplands"? as that is where I might get a house.

Yeah...what she said.

I go to the dollarstore and buy two packs of that craft foam...theres only two of each colour in each pack, your gonna what four of the same colour.
Anyways, just put the foam around the top of the leg (while the leg is unattached from the pin), trace it, cut it out, punch two holes where the screws go, and off you go! Have fun...
