I was looking online to get a replacement Bally decal for my coin door and I asked one of the companies (must be home operated, not one of the big boys) why they refused to ship to Canada since the US is not too far away and I am probably a bit closer than Alaska. He said that he did not want to stand in line in the post office to deal with international shipping. Omg, are Americans that secular? My guess is that he was probably having a tough time getting out of his chair except to reach for the remote, can you believe it? I am still shaking my head.
Second story, same topic;
So I decide to go to one of the bigger outlets (no names mentioned) and I see that the decal is $6.95 which I am ok with. So I go through the whole checkout process and then I look at the shipping and @$%^$%&* they frickin' want $22 to ship a single decal! Someone is suffering from brain damage to demand that. It is highway robbery. There is no way an envelope, stamp and decal cost $22.
3rd story,
So I figure go big or go home, and I go to the company in Australia (Pinball Rescue) which has some interesting niche items and they have the decal for $5 plus $3 to ship half way around the world! Now those Aussies can teach our cousins to the south a thing or two about doing business!!!
I know that it is also possible to print out a decal if you have the scan. So my final option before I place an order is to ask if anyone has a Bally coin door decal scan available that I can use to print out my own decal. If so, I thank you in advance.
I am now finished my rant, phew !

Maybe a scan is a good thing to have anyway, but if you want a Bally decal, I've got 4 or 5 that I haven't used yet and probably won't get around to using for a while. They only cost me $4 each or so. Let me send you one for nuttin' or bring one to Nick's on Sunday.
BTW, that story is so pathetic that it has to be true. I would estimate that 90% of Americans think Minnesota is south of Toronto.
