I have a couple of fluorescent fixtures for marquees that need new ballasts.
THey are the clamped core type like in the picture. I've looked in hardware stores & other places but still no luck.



Anyone know where to get them in MTL so I don't have to spend $20 on a whole new fixture?

Have you tried Rona or Home Depot? I recently bought one there.

Homier has the widest selection but you really need to know the exact part number.
It will probably cost you more than $20. i tried to repair a miniature neon fixture last month and learnt the hard way..

wait a minute, i clicked on the picture... What is the wattage on that transformer: 9 or 13 watts? Those are the common ones you can get for under $10.

A few years ago I ordered 3 of them from Happ Controls for about $3.75 each, but have used them up. I might order from Happ... but would rather buy local & avoid the shipping & customs headache.

The Ballast Type I need is

Watts: 14,15,18,19,20
Used On: F14, F15, F18, F19, F20

The Happ part number is 91-1228-00
