You may want to be very careful here. I read the article, and did some research. It seems good for the ABS plastics but a plastics used on pins is acrylic. Not only that but any labels, artwork etc will fade considerably in this stuff. I noticed on my Totem when I tried to wash the bumper cap the "painted design was coming off with just mild soap and water".
