Guys,

I'm not looking for the main decals.  I'm looking for the decals on the playfield inserts, for the terminator 2 machine.  You know, like the autofire ball rescue decal, all the number and word decals on the playfield inserts.

I've looked online extensively but can't find anything.  If anyone has any tips please advise.  I love the machine and it's working great and all, but some of the insert decals are chipped and I am very anal about my stuff, would like it to look as good as possible.

Email Jeff @ Classic Arcade

He used to sell a T2 decal set like the link I have provided below.  He may have a few left.

I should also mention if you are going to use decals you need to either put mylar over the decals to protect them ... or put a clearcoat over the entire playfield to seal them in.  Otherwise the ball will eventually wear off any of the graphics on the decal.

You're right Mark, at least the BK2K ones i gave you were sealed and didnt required clearcoat or mylar.

Aren't the originals decals?  I thought those were decals on there.  If they aren't, what are they? YOu make it sound like they aren't decals???

The graphics are silkscreened on the playfield AND the inserts at the same time.  Basically the art work is "painted" on there.  It wears off when the inserts move and are no longer level with the playfield, either higher or lower.  They then get hit harder by the ball which takes off the clearcoat and ink.

Oh I see.  So what's the best way to renew them then?  I figured they were decals as they almost look like it because you can see around the whole edges on some of the inserts.

I also just noticed that on the playfield it says "Protected by Diamond PLate".  Never noticed that until i was playing a game today and happened to see it.  I'm an idiot lol.
