I just received my Thread ID kit from Lee Valley tools and I think it will come in quite handy. On sale for $13.50 plus shipping. They also have some decent binocular magnifiers as well. I always use mine for soldering so I can see what I am doing without risking my eyesight. Of course my wife calls me Bubbles whenever I have them on.

Those kits are just SCREAMING "lost caps". I bet anything within 2 weeks you lose one of them.

Get a kit for real men. I have them at home, mind you I RARELY ever use them, since I can guess 98% of the time what the bolt is.

Those are the same ones that every home depot I've been too has, which begs the question why anyone would need one at home.

Well if you arent into woodworking and dont have a garden yet, what else do you buy with a Lee Valley gift card?

The place is like a woodworking hobbiest boutique.

mess Adam, if it wasn't just wrong I'd sell you the gift card Ha ha. Got zip ties and have a magnetic telescopic wand but not the magnetic tray. Good idea. Cam locks with tubular keys are the best IMHO. ANother good idea.

Maybe a mini leveller too.

Hell these guys have more pin stuff than Princess Auto! Nah.

Adam, that tray is such a simple yet very good idea. I think I will visit my local Lee Valley this weekend and get one. Remember that they also sell the digital level which is handy for any pin.
