I've got a problem with my TZ. For some reason I can't adjust the level of the machine correctly. The floor is level, the legs are all the same length the back levelers are at max and the front at min and I still can't get the playfield steep enough. It's close but I can't help to think there's something wrong here. Any ideas? The instructions say tat the bubble should just touch the second line (thicker one).
Also I always end up with bolts that don't screw in tightly for the legs is there an order to put all of these in?
There are 3 holes for leg bolts at the back. You have to put the back legs in the lower 2 holes. I remember having the same issue when I picked up my game at Pinball Expo.. Took a few minutes to figure that one out!

Well, I'm really confused now. That's not it. The back legs are using the bottom holes and the fron using the top two. I'm comparing to every picture I can find on the net and the legs seem to have the same positions (I'm comparing against the artwork).
Although the level has lost a bit of plastic, it is not the problem. I took out the level from my TOM and I have the same result. This makes no sense to me. The cabinet would have to be distorted some how. How the hell can I check for that?
Is the playfield seated properly?? Can you slide it out to work on it? I'm starting to think the back playfield supports (the ones that allow to slide) are screwed up somehow..

I can slide it in and out, but it's not a super nice slide. I've had the pin for a few years now and I don't remember it being like that before. My TOM slide absolutely nicely compared to this one.
I played a bit more with the levellers and I managed to get it into an acceptable angle, but I needed to put some small wooden blocks on the left side (guess the floor ain't perfect). With the legs levellers completely at max on the back and absolute minimum in front, I get just a little tad over the required angle.
How would I know if they're screwed up? Is this something that can become loose?
The mechanism should slide on a tubular nut. Sometimes this nut falls off and the playfield slides directly on the bolt. That would make it more difficult to slide..

Unfortunately everything seems in place, the tubular nuts are there. I even check the level of the floor and it's fine. Maybe something that could help me troubleshoot this probem is if someone could tell me if the playfield is installed in the box at the right angle. Meaning that the playfield compared to the bottom of the pinball machine has the 6 and a half degrees difference.
I did notice one thing wrong, the rear guide legs were bent (they're the legs that are bolted to the back plate of the playfield). What are these for? I looks like they may be used to keep the playfield straight up on those two wooden guide rails on the sides of the box. The TOM manual mentions these guide legs but I don't have them in the machine.
Another oddity on the TZ is the side bar that allows to hold the playfield halfway up. It only has a yellow rubber coating on the end but to bolt to lock onto the slide mechanism. How the hell is this supposed to help me accomplish anything.
Again, thanks to everyone helping me out with this.
Still having issues with this. I just don't get it. Everything seems fine. I've put my TOM and TZ next to each other as level as I could and I can see that the glass on the TZ is a lot more steep. Why can't I get the right angle???
I've started looking at the two playfield hanger brackets (the metal parts bolted with the two bottom arches) at the bottom of the playfield, should these match exactly the top of the metal piece that holds the game info cards? They're not even at the same height between them. The left bracket had a piece of aluminium added underneath where it's bolted to help make the playfield level.
