The guy is on the wrong site, he should post on Ebay if he wants a price auction. |

Both Champion pub and junkyard are sold.
Guess he made the right choice? |

I guess it wasnt a bad decision buying the last WPC game and leaving it in the box for 10 years.
It helps if you have plenty of space and cash to spare.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people stashed NIB unopened games. |

Why post without a price? I'm kind of curious what this goes for. The real question is, if someone buys it, do they open it or leave it in the box to flip later on? Just like with other hobbies, collectors have a great way of ruining it. These games exist to be played, not stored in the boxes they came in. I can understand wanting to keep a game in great shape and looking fresh, but the minute that comes at the expense of "now nobody can play it" is crossing the line. |

That's a dangerous game. When this guy bought the CC, unless he knew they were only going to make so many, it's a gamble. A NIB Stern rarely goes over the original value. NIB Williams are rare. And even then, that means storing it for 12+ years. There are costs to that. I see a NIB CC, MM and a couple of others go for $$$, but otherwise, probably just the same cost as new. And that is a tight market... |

Why post without a price?
Cause if you have to ask what it's going to cost you can't afford it I thought there was a NIB CC that was up on ebay a while back that went in the 15K + range or so. |

I know of a NIB SWE1 that someone has stored assuming it will appreciate. Can you see that pin going up in value? It is always a gamble you take to store NIB pins. |

There were several SWE:1 NIB up for sale recently.. Some were sold, I believe. However , the return on the investment was minimal in that case. |

Definately a dangerous game. Back in the day, not alot of collectors were buying new games, so the supply for NIB/HUO Williams games is now quite low. With Williams NIB game, someone will pay the dollars and, hopefully, enjoy the NIB experience I don't think we will find the same $$$ for NIB Stern games stored for 12 years, for example, as there will be alot more HUO games out there and HUO, if properly maintained, is just as good as NIB. Althought it is nice to have that NIB experience once Duane |

There was a NIB Fish Tales unboxing that was documented on RGP recently. It was cool to see, but man... there's no way I'd drop that kinda coin. I find it hard even justifying a NIB Stern. I guess if I was loaded I'd consider it, but even then.. it seems like a waste of money to me (to each their own, though!)

I remember that NIB Black knight that went for 6000$. One of the rare occurences that a classic NIB pin goes for a lot. Case in point, John's Jukes had a bunch of NIB Interflip Dragon pins that NEVER went over 1000$. |
