Well, I have finally taken the plunge and I think I have done all right. In the last 24 hours I have made the commitment to purchase the IJ machine from jvegas... I have also, just minutes ago, won an auction on ebay for a brand new TSPP. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAP.....K:MEWA:IT&ih=011Shipping is only $325 as well. This seller has an excellent feedback rating. Paypal is insuring the transaction for $2000. My heart is still racing from the last second bidding... what have I gotten myself into? NO turning back now I guess. |

Congrats!! I've bought from him before, so you have no worries. Keep in mind that you will need a broker to clear customs. Also, did he already quote you the $325 price, or was that on the listing? If its only on the lisrting, it'll be likely only within the U.S., but if its direct to you, its a great price! |

I was quoted the $325 to my postal code prior to the auction ending. Glad you have dealt with him. I already have customs account in order so I am good to go... |

I am still really interested in NGG actually. I gotta pay for these first. Set them up and cross my fingers no surprises in terms of additional $$ having to go into them right away. After that, who knows. I am just really anxious to have my first machine set up. By the way. I may make this another post but can anyone comment as to whether I need to do anything to avoid wrecking hardwood floors with pinball machines? I have nice wide-plank new hardwood and I wonder if the machine will mark or damage the floors? |

There are a number of products out there for this, Pin Footies, etc. I use a piece of Carpet about 4"sq. under each leg, upside down, so I can slide them around if necessary.

Another cheap solution are those felt stick-on pads that you can get for tables and chairs. All my pins have those on the levelers except for Centaur on which Mrhide put levelers with plastic pads. Those felt stick-ons cost a couple of bucks at any local hardware store, or even at pretty much any el-cheapo dollar store. |

I use the same little pads..peel and stick. The machines slide around nice and easy too when you need to move them. |
