BTW, can you give some info on this: "modified the memory battery to be a replaceable coin cell battery, no more leaky rechargable battery".
I didn't know there was a battery on a Spy Hunter main boardset or which PCB? What kind of replacement cell did you use and what kind of mods are required?

The modification is actually done to the power supply board. There is a Nicad battery on there that leaks and causes all sorts of problems with the reset section and connectors. The game will function fine without the battery, it just won't retain any settings or high scores. It basically involves installing the coin cell holder on the PCB using existing holes and replacing a resistor with a blocking diode to defeat the charging circuit.
