I just want to thank Wayne for shipping me some classic Stern plastics. I realized after the TO show that he had some Freefall plastics in his stock after looking at my machine. I sent him an email with a couple of pics of what to look for.
He shipped me not one, but FIVE VERY NICE plastics, including BOTH SLINGS in perfect shape!!!
I think Wayne doesn't get full recognition for his contributions to the hobby, like the pinball glass, all the parts, hosting MAACA in the future, etc... He often goes out of his way for fellow collectors, and I wanted him to get recognized for being such a great member of our community.
Wayne, you rock! A MILLION thanks!!! I raise my beer to you!
... and guys, he still has LOTS of parts. If you didn't see it all at the TO show, send him a PM. He might
I RAISE MINE BACK! You helped me sort legs that would otherwise have been much less desirable. One of these days we'll get to raise some beers in person.
P.S. Re parts. After the show I was a bit bitchy (and sick with a sinus infection) so I discouraged some people from looking over my parts. But if you have a specific want, a part number and/or a picture, certainly I will look through for you. Lots of Manuals too. I will warn you that the cream of the crop did go at the show.
I'm likely going to be culling back a lot of "heavy metal" EM target assemblies (torn down) from parted out machines soon, and I jsut through out a whole whack of coin mechs (but I have lots of Canadian and US $0.25 left).
