Wow, that's just nutty. How long would it take to play one game of each? 5 minutes a game would be 37.5 hours! That'd be a pin/vid marathon which would require a few 6-packs of Ensure via a Beer-hat and a few pairs of Depends! Thank goodness you wouldn't need to be packing quarters!

Man, I hope I can go one day. Thanks for sharing the links.

There aren't enough machines in Quebec and Ontario combined. You won't see anything like that here. The Toronto Gameroom show was a good start though.

Here's some video of the show shot by some game journalists: http://www.giantbomb.com/giant-bomb-at-california-extreme-2010/17-2922/
(Their podcast is awesome, all gamers should listen to it)

There are enough machines except that to move them you need people willing to help and do it.  Hell, MEDVET has quite a collection so don't underestimate what people have in their homes..........maybe one day Montreal will be the mecca of coin op symposium.

There may be a few collectors with awesome collections but they're only going to supply a few games at max. We need a lot more collectors willing to share one or two games to have something like California Extreme. I only have five machines, but I'd only be willing to bring one or two. Any more would require too much work and a truck rental.
