We should send Inspector Sparky or Detective SpaceCadet after this guy !

...my reputation precedes me!!!
Here's my take on it... there is no miracle tool to get cheap pins. You look for em, and you find em. That's it.
When it comes to wholesale, this is a term used to describe the action of buying goods straight from the manufacturer.... Oh my God!!! THAT'S IT!!! I HAVE DISCOVERED WHAT THE LIST IS!!!

...It's a 8.5"x11" sheet of paper that says "Call Gary Stern".

Come on... we all know that the trick for a better deal is to buy directly from the source... eliminate the middle man.
I have seen similar scams before... is as old as time itself.
...Actually, I have a better idea. Send ME 100$ and I will give you the BEST tool to shop around for a pin. Hint? If you are reading this, you are using that tool as you read!
On a more serious note, information is the key... and my personal golden rule. I call it Sparky's rule of three. Take 3 factors... Good condition, Cheapness and legality... and for every 2 positives, you will have a negative. Let me demonstrate:
If it is in good condition and cheap... it isn't legal.
If it is good and legal... it ain't cheap.
If it is cheap and legal... it isn't in good shape.
...Yes... sometimes... once in a blue moon, you do get 3 positives... but that involves the ever-so-mysterious 4th factor... seller stupidity, drunkeness or sheer desperation.

Sparky
PS: if you are stupid enough to spend 450$ for a supposed list for a big screen TV rebate, you are a complete moron... and even more so if you actually advertise in the Ebay feedbacks that you got screwed over such an obvious scam. Duuuuh!
