There is a MAME for sale in my area. It looks like it could be something interesting to have.

What would the value range on something like this be?  Are there any particular questions I should be asking the seller or details I should be looking for?

GAAAACK !

What a shame to destroy a perfectly good Robotron cabinet for THAT !

...but to answer your question, a very very rough guide to pricing a MAME
(...for me anyways) is $100-300 for the cabinet and controls
(depending on condition, artwork and type of controls)

PLUS

the cost of the PC and monitor.

I'm not sure what a Core2DUO sells for, but the 19" LCD is worth about $75-$100.

If I had to throw out a price, I'd say $500-600 would be fair.
$400 would be a good deal, $700 would be a tad over-priced..
