I love antique jukes as well Necro. Can't say I know much about them though. Apparently each model is fairly unique in terms of the schematics and stuff? That's a nice one though, with the curved glass on top and the lighted side panels. Want a 50's, or maybe 60's juke for the gameroom eventually.
I thought the Wurlitzers and Rockolas were more desirable? I know it depends on the model and such, but generally.
What year is this one from?
Is that one in the pic is a restored model or a picture of it when it was new?
It's a 1952 M100C. That's a picture of one that's restored. They go for 4000-5000$ restored. A bit less for unrestored..

Here's a pic of one that's unrestored.. The original finish wasn't a laminate. They were painted 50'd pastel colors (pinkish beige, blueish green, etc)

Ok here is what is out there. Prices have dropped significantly. I think the chrome vs plastic lit pilasters is a later model. You can spend more for the same thing, but why? The $2200 USD one was apparently a $6000 perfect restoration. I think it is a buyers market on these. The one at $1500 including the wall station looks like a deal, and it's within insane driving distance.
Hey Mike, is that something that is available in the pic? I am not sure about the finish. Most of them I have seen are finished wood. Here is another one I am watching.
Note the chrome pilasters and the seller stating it will require "pilasters and animations". I have to wonder if this was a poor fix for broken pilasters or a different model.
In answer to your question flashman, here is the logic behind looking at this unit.
It is a true 50's juke. It will hold 100 songs. Some like an old trashcan will only hold 14, 78's. Looks cool but damn near useless.
R2-D2's Grandfather.
The bubbler's have become ubiquitous. The very nicest in appearance, but unfortunately with the exception of Rockola there are a lot of cheap knock offs of this unit which have really flooded the market. Take a look at some of these and you will soon see why the Rockola is the one to buy. Wurlitzer is riding on it's name these days. Not quality. There is also a space penalty. Those suckers are huge.
I think I want to capture the true mechanical and tube amp aspects of the 50's juke and stay true to form while having the 100 45 functionality. This one fits the bill for me. Plus it has the mirrored back and rainbow lit pilasters to give it some 50's tacky appeal.

Nope it's from a juke retailer site that has the "before and after" pics. All the ones I've seen so far had the painted finish (other than the restored ones that all have wood laminate finish).. There may have been different finishes at the time or most people painted them to match the decor I don't know...
