I'm thinking of picking up this project which is fairly local to me. The guy is asking for $150 for his 1975 Bally Odds and Evens pin. It is currently not working, and he states that a few bumpers were not working so he opened it up to check some fuses, teh fuse box fell off and now the machine won't even start. The bg and cabinet are 9out10's which teh playing field is more like a 5 or 6 out of 10.

Does this seem like a reasonable price for this machine and condition?

Thanks.

What would you expect from 150$ ?

I paid 130$ for a plastic set from CPR..

If you feel like fixing it, then yes, 150$ is a good price...

How does one go about touching up a playfield? Is it possible to just tape off the region and then use model paints and coat? Is there a better process?

Thanks.

You send it to me.

Actually, local touch-ups can be performed, but the important thing is to seal the touch-ups properly or else they will wear out in a matter of minutes. And localized touch-ups and clear are never as nice as a full job.

Post a few pics of it and I will be able to tell you what it would take. Then it will be up to you to decide if you want to restore it or merely just get it running.

Retiring soon...

Thanks sparky. I'm going to take a better look at it today and if all is well I will bring it home with me and post up some pictures.

Cheers all.
