Fly paper is that really sticky paper strip they used to hang from the ceiling to catch flies in the old days. Ouch!

Thanks for your opinions....

Here is my method.

1) I take my balls in my hand, and manipulate them until they are in the right position.
2) I usually focus on one ball at a time, and tweak it to the front position in my hand.
3) Then I apply a nice layer of wax, and massage it all around and over my ball.
4) I let it sit a bit (sometimes in my hand, sometime not)
5) Then I use my hand in a back and forth motion (mostly) to buff the hell out of them.
6) I inspect them, and sometimes find that there is wax on the rag, that transferred back onto my balls
7) If need be, I buff them again until my balls are nice and shiny.

I have also toyed with the idea of using an electric tool on them to buff them better then I could do with my hand - but have not tried this yet.

Do any of you do it differently?

I think you are on the wrong forum.

So , i gather that buying mirror chrome pinballs on ebay (less than $2.00 ) is a better option then running them into a tumbler , right ?

For the amount of time (and electricity!) it takes to tumble balls, at $2 a pop, even owning a tumbler, I buy.

I save it for metal parts.
