Just when Rick was starting to show some good taste in pins, he sells off a Bally and leaves a room full of Gottliebs.  You just can't help some people.

Ricker is simply displaying the natural evolution of a sane and well adjusted pinball player as far as I can tell. And absolutely Glen, it can`t be helped.

And damn the Habs thing, well that is just standard issue for any kid who grew up in Montreal in the 70`s.

I have only met Rick once, and seems like an outstanding soft spoken guy, and "not at all stuck up."

Mad Titan it was great to meet you and I have to say that it was a lot of fun to talk pins with you, share some normal beers (no microbrews on this day Whizzervic - I just ran out of those I guess, rare I know). I hope that you enjoyed Toronto and I am really looking forward to the Ottawa show. I love your pinmobile, probably the best I have seen and it should be a MAACA standard!

Well I can't help the Habs part McMean, I mean I even drink Canadian beer! Now if they made Leaf beer or Senators beer - what would that taste like?

As for the Ballys, they are nice (yup maybe I am a closet Bally lover, ask my Xenon, she talks you know) and one day I would definitely like to own an Embryon, Fathom, Centaur or 8 Ball Deluxe now that I have played them. Great look & game flow for those pins and I know that if I have a question I can always give Mr. Niceguy a shout since you are not too far away about these Ballys. But for the record, I still love my Gottliebs and Williams with the occasional Classic Stern.

And Hal 9000 I have to say that every time I look at a pin, I am trying to look at it the way that you do & literally make the game shine & look NIB the way that you have. As I learn more, I should be able to eventually get there.

Now if I only had another 1000 square feet in the basement, hmm...

You are soo right RAB, watching the Habs win all those cups in the 70's kinda spoiled me. It is something that I don't think can be repeated nowadays. Go habs go ! One month until the start of a new season and season opener is against the Leafs !!!!
